Belt conveyor system

The Belt Conveyor is designed and installed in such a way so as to meet the bulk material handling and transferring needs. The Conveyor not just saves time and money but also saves a lot of physical labor when it comes to transferring of and handling of bulk  materials like food products, fertilizers, cement, cement mixtures and so on. It generally consists of two or more pulleys and a continuous loop, which is the conveyor belt to rotate above them. It seeks to use a wide belt and the pulleys supported by the rollers or even a flat pan along its way.

We can design and install Belt Conveyor Systems to meet all of your material handling needs. Below are some examples of the various  types of Belt Conveyors we specialize in. We also Provide Stackers and Portable Conveyors as well as accessories such as Belt Scales, Metal Detectors and Conveyor Switches. Information is provided on portable and stacker conveyors below, however if you need  information on a custom system please contact us via your preferred method.

Screw Conveyor, Belt Conveyor

KHODIYAR screw conveyor, also known as a spiral conveyor, screw conveyor, helix conveyor or center less auger conveyor, consists of a spring steel or stainless steel, flexible screw that is enclosed in a flexible or rigid plastic tube, or a rigid steel tube, and driven by an electric motor normally located at the discharge end of the conveyor. This simple design delivers efficient performance and high reliability while reducing maintenance and cost. When properly engineered according to the specific characteristics of the material being conveyed and the process into which it will be integrated, a flexible screw conveyor can outperform rigid screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chain conveyors, aero mechanical conveyors and other equipment intended to transport powder and bulk solid materials

Jumbo Bag Unloading System

The KHODIYAR INFRATECH Jumbo Bag Unloading System, also known as Jumbo bag dischargers and super sack unloaders are specifically designed to provide an easy, clean and economical way to discharge the entire contents of bulk and semi-bulk bags, especially when the material is less than free-flowing.

Jumbo bags can be placed in the Jumbo bag unloader by fork lift, hoist or crane from floor level. An integral hoist on a monorail can be furnished if desired. Standard arrangement includes a bag frame to which the suspension loops of the bag can be attached while the bag is resting on the floor. The bag frame is then raised and positioned so the hooks on the frame engage a counter-balanced suspension frame in the superstructure of the unloader. When lowered, the bottom of the bag rests on a sealing ring in the unloader bed and the tension on the bag loops keeps the bag upright. Optional pneumatically operated actuator petals massage the lower portion of the bag to promote material flow toward the center of the bag.

Material can discharge by gravity into storage, a process vessel or a conveying system for transfer to another location. Modular construction of the discharge portion underneath the bed facilitates the use of a wide range of devices such as feed screws, rotary valves, lump breakers.

TRANSIT MIXER

PTM Series introduces by KHODIYAR INFRATECH, for India & Overseas, indigenously developed Transit Mixer. The Transit Mixer is a very resourceful product of KHODIYAR INFRATECH Process Technologies; the mixer can produce concrete with various capacities 2 m3, 4 m3 & 6m3 capacity.

KHODIYAR INFRATECH Transit Mixer is a strong well designed piece of equipment meant for transporting concrete / mortar from concrete batching plant directly to the place where it is to be poured. It has a wide range of application especially for mass concreting works like Construction of Canals, Bridges, Highways, Dams, Multistoried & Industrial Buildings, Factories, and Airports and for ready mixed Concrete Works (RMC).

KHODIYAR INFRATECH Transit Mixer is fully hydrostatic mounted on truck chassis. Hydrostatic power is transmitted by a high pressure axial piston type pump and motor, which permits infinite varying drum speed from 0 to 14 rpm in both directions. The control of pump gives flow to a high pressure hydraulic motor, which rotates the mixer drum through an epicyclic gear reducer. The mixer drum has double spiral type mixing blade inside it which ensures efficient mixing without segregation & smooth flow of concrete while discharging. The mixer drum & spiral are made from highly durable steel.

·        Long life of mixing drum & spirals due to highly durable steel.
·        Imported hydraulic pump and motor.
·        Adequate 'Kirloskar' air cooled diesel engine (Slave Engine).
·        Compact imported oil bath planetary gearbox which absorbs extreme torsion of equipment.
·        Micro filtration system ensuring hydraulic pump and motor protection.
·        Hydraulic oil cooler with inbuilt hydraulic tank and filter.
·        A long trouble free working life due to close loop hydraulic circuit.
·        Manual rotation of drum possible in case of emergency.
·        Technically well conceived shape of the mixing spirals which ensures better quality of products.
·        Mixer drum rotates on machined ring to achieve concentricity & smooth wobble free rotation .
·        Prepacked and adjustable drum roller assembly to compensate jerks and shocks.
·        Sturdy chassis design, low center of gravity resulting in better stability of vehicle.
·        Simple comprehensive operation.
·        Efficient hydrostatic drive ensuring low fuel consumption.

DENSE PHASE SYSTEM

Theory ::
Dense Phase Pressure Conveying Systems generally use compressed air at above 1 Bar g to push materials from a Pressure Vessel   (also known as a sender unit or pressure pot) through a pipeline to the destination where the air and product are separated by a filter or   other system. The product extrudes through the pipeline, initially at low velocity, and gradually accelerating towards the destination.

>>  Systems generally operate on a batch basis as follows: (simplified) <<
Fill the sender unit with product to be conveyed.
                Pressurize with compressed air
Open discharge valve until the product has been conveyed out.
Close discharge valve and refill vessel.

A panel of valves and sensors are used to control the air pressures and velocities at all parts of the system to ensure smooth reliable conveying of the product.

Applications ::
Dense Phase Pressure Conveying Systems are particularly suitable for systems, which convey materials at high capacities over long   distances, to multiple destinations. Most systems include several air control valves and the high pressure compressed air supply is   able to overcome the pressure drop generated by the most difficult materials, while also providing controlled conveying for friable   materials. The lower convey velocities also extend the service life for systems conveying abrasive materials.

Convey Rates :
High, up to 100 tonnes/hr or higher
Convey Velocities:
Low, 1-10 m/s
Convey Distances:
High, up to 500m or longer
Air Mover :
Compressor (Screw, rotary, reciprocating)
Operating Pressure:
Up to 8 Bar g

Material/Air Ratios:
high, up to 150 kg/kg
Note All values approximate, refer Nu-Con for advice about how to convey your product.

Options ::
To optimise the system various techniques are used to reduce compressed air consumption and cost, and additional options for specialised applications are available:

Air injectors to fluidise materials to reduce friction
Pulsed air injection to break up the product flow into discrete slugs
Line Boosters to assist conveying along convey route
Vibration to loosen cohesive powders prior to conveying
Twin vessels to provide continuous conveying
In-Line sifting, sampling, delumping, metal detection and magnetic separation systems
Stepped convey lines to reduce terminal velocities, abrasion and degradation
Stainless Steel construction for sanitation or corrosion resistance
Demountable and polished designs to USDA 3A standards for ease of cleaning
